The tranquil 16-site tourist park on a working truffle farm provides guests with a pristine camping experience.
Basic facilities best suited to self-sufficient campers.
PLEASE NOTE: With limited water and amenities, please bring your own camping toilet, water & shower. We have a dump-point on site and a back up toilet and shower.
Truffles
Truffles are the edible fruiting bodies of fungi that grow underground (in a symbiotic relationship) attached to the roots of our 450 French oak trees. Truffles are a gourmet food highly valued by the food industry around the world. They are eaten fresh and also made into a variety of products including pasta, truffle honey and truffle mustard.
The Folly is Queensland’s first commercial truffiere and began producing French black Perigord truffles in 2020. Truffles are harvested during the winter months and are available for sale to the public.
Truffle farm tours are conducted on weekends – BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL as spaces are limited.
